Robert Flock

As Senior Vice President of the American Bankers Association’s (ABA) Office of Strategic Engagement, Robert directs federal advocacy campaigns and leads ABA’s external relations, political affairs, and state policy functions. He also oversees ABA’s Government Relations Council, a group of 100 CEOs that sets organizational policy priorities.

Before joining ABA, Robert was Director of Advocacy for the Credit Union National Association (now America’s Credit Unions), where he lobbied members of Congress and Administration officials. He was previously a Policy Advisor at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck and began his career at Quinn Gillespie & Associates.

Robert earned an AB from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and Public Affairs Council.
